During years 2016-2018, The Box project created a concept which uses several technologies in order to create immersive, multisensory spaces in different commercial settings. Leveraging the best practices of the Virtual reality (VR), and the Augmented Reality (AR) researches, The Box has exploited into unforeseen Mixed Reality Environments (MRE).
The Box is a perfect solution for storytelling, and compelling visualization of products and services.
The pre-programmable and scripted chromatic atmospheres exploit the existing knowledge of Soundscape, Psychoacoustic, Sensory Stimulation, Haptic Feedback and Augmented Reality.
The Box project was awarded with the Innovation of the Year 2018 at the Aromi Pro Gala.
Integral part of the Box research project is the partnership with international researchers from three renowned educational institutions: Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Algarve, NHTV Breda, and Hotelschool The Hague.
The Box concept helps companies to engage, inspire, entertain, and leave long-lasting memories.
Correspondingly the industry partners Pixoi, Flik Media Group, Fantasiaworks, Metos, Hotel Haaga, CMB restaurants, Sinebrychoff, Ähtäri Zoo, and Pinto Design will continue to contribute to the commercialization of the concept.
